📕Included in the Red Book of Uzbekistan – Do you know about pink poppy?

This bird is a vulnerable, declining, flight-breeding species. It is included in the Red Book of Uzbekistan and the Red List of IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature).

Limiting factors are destruction of habitats, poaching, destruction of colonies after the change of the water regime in the Aral Sea basin.

Hunting is strictly prohibited. It is protected in nesting places, during migration, flight and wintering.
