Territory and Land Fund

The total area of the national park is 3,165.95 hectares. The documents divide the territory into three functional parts.

  • Protected territory: 2,317.86 ha
  • Recreation zone: 448.72 ha
  • Economic-use zone: 399.37 ha

Ecotourism and the Davutkol Route

The recreation area provides conditions for birdwatching and photography. The Davutkol eco-route is located within the park’s recreation area.

Expansion, Grants, and Needs

Proposals have been submitted to the Department to expand the park by 4,157.436 hectares. Under the IUCN NL LAF project, an application has been submitted to attract 122,700 euros for conserving Red Book birds around Davutkol.

  • From district reserve lands: 66.936 ha
  • There is no service building
  • The deputy director position for scientific work has been vacant for 2 years
  • 1 Isuzu D-Max and 2 Niva vehicles are needed for protection and scientific work

Scientific Activity and Biodiversity

As of 2026, the park records 150 vertebrate animal species and 116 plant species. 17 animal species are included in the Red Book of Uzbekistan and 10 species are included in the international red list.
