An environmental event dedicated to “International Biodiversity Day” was held in the Arolboyi National Nature Park
On May 22 of this year, the employees of the Arolboi National Nature Park under the jurisdiction of the Department of Protected Natural Areas organized an educational event in connection with the “International Biodiversity Day” with the participation of students.
The main goal of the event is to raise the ecological culture of young people, to awaken in them a sense of belonging to nature, and to help preserve the biodiversity of the region.
As part of the event, students were told about the flora and fauna found in the territory of the nature park and included in the “Red Book” of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Also, a special presentation and videos revealing the essence of the topic were shown. In the end, the students got detailed answers to the questions they were interested in and once again realized that the protection of nature is the duty of every citizen.
