Currently, the study of medicinal plants, their effect on diseases, preparation of medicines from them are relevant topics. It has been determined that there are 10-12 thousand species of medicinal plants on earth. In the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 10, 2020, PQ 4670, recommendations were given about the protection of wild medicinal plants and the introduction of cultural cultivation and the rational use of available resources. Asian mint Mentha asiatica Boriss, which belongs to the medicinal plant species, was recorded during the spring census of plants in the territory of the “Arolboyi” National Nature Park of this Boyistan.
For information, we would like to mention: as of 2024, out of 116 types of plants, 65 types of medicinal plants, 35 types of beekeeping plants, 60 types of fodder, 45 technical and 37 types of phytomeliorant plants have been identified in “Arolboyi” National Nature Park.
