🌱 “Arolboyi” National Nature Park
Olako’zan (Vormela peregusna) is a carnivorous mammal belonging to the amphibian family. The average length of the body is from 26 to 35 cm, the length of the tail is about 11-20 cm. The body is slender and long, the legs are short, and the tail is short. The color is black, tan, tan, or gray spotted. Gives birth to 3 to 8 children. It feeds on bats, mice and other small rodents. The most active time of the day is mainly in the morning and in the evening. Its eyesight is very low and it relies only on a well-developed sense of smell. They live alone and move widely within a territory of 0.5–0.6 km². It usually leads a sedentary life and stays in its nest for life.
