🌿Nature knows no boundaries.📣
Political borders are especially alien to migratory wildlife species. Therefore, international cooperation and transboundary efforts are important for their conservation, survival of this type of animals, preservation of biological diversity. It should be noted here that the United Nations Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals was signed in Bonn, Germany in 1979 and entered into force in 1983. 133 countries are members of this Convention. In particular, Uzbekistan joined the Convention in 1998. ☑️ This UN Convention unites countries through which migratory animals pass, polygon states and creates a legal basis for internationally agreed nature protection measures in the entire migration zone. Since 2013, it has become a tradition to celebrate the Day of Migratory Animals in Uzbekistan.
Therefore, on the occasion of the Day of Migratory Animals in Uzbekistan, on November 10, employees of the Arolboi National Nature Park visited one of the comprehensive schools in Bozatov district, where teachers and students were given extensive information about migratory animals and their species.
